We are what we are because of who we all are.
That spirit of Ubuntu is one of our core values at Brink. It’s also the reason we come together every year, in person, away from things like screens, deadlines, and Zoom calls.
This year, our retreat took us back to West Lexham in Norfolk, a place that's part of our story (and our hearts). The last time we were here (in 2021!), Brink was half the size – but our spirit has remained just the same: a team built on trust, curiosity, and connection.
Over the four days, we:
🌿 Took a breath to reflect on where we’ve been and where we’re going.
💬 Had big conversations about the future of innovation, learning, and change.
🎨 Ran Brinkster-led sessions to share skills, ideas, and passions.
🚶Explored the woods, lakes, and trails, and soaked in the beauty of the Norfolk countryside.
🍽️ Gathered each evening over good food, laughter, stories (and maybe some fancy dress).
Our retreats aren't just about working better together (though that always happens). They're about being better together; holding fast to the values that fuel us in a world that’s moving faster and feeling louder every day.
Big thanks to the amazing team at West Lexham for being such wonderful hosts once again, and huge love to our operations whiz, Louise for weaving the magic behind the scenes. ✨
